Michael Poulsen

After a successful run on Metallica’s World Magnetic Tour and a great response to their first US Headlining gig, I asked Michael if he would answer a few questions from members of The Metallica Fan Club.  Michael was more than happy to do so and I want to personally thank him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to do so.

Volbeat are currently on their 2010 European Tour, as well as preparing to enter the studio in April for their highly anticipated album “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven” due to hit the shelves in September!

America’s first-ever hard-rock and heavy-metal music awards show is back! The second annual REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARDS presented by Epiphone will take place Thursday, April 8, returning to Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles. The writing process is well under way and a title is already set:

Front man Michael Poulsen explains: “The Album title is “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven” (no reference to religious beliefs). The title refers to the overall theme of the album, and it continues the storyline from where “Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood” left off…”
